Houston is 5-0 after a 132-100 win in Milwaukee, and Alperen Sengun was upgraded from out overnight, with Oct. 30 as his projected return. Dallas comes first on Friday, and Oklahoma City visits the next night.

Oct. 21
The streak began against the same opponent. Houston beat Dallas 128-110 at home, the first of five straight wins. The teams had also split two earlier October meetings: a 135-117 Houston win on Oct. 9 and a 132-115 loss on Oct. 11. Dallas has steadied since then. Under Dusty May it is 3-2 and has won two in a row.
Oct. 28
Houston played without Sengun, Smart and Adams in Milwaukee and still led by as many as 35. The second quarter decided it: a 34-14 quarter and a 57-35 halftime lead. VanVleet scored 24 on 7-of-14 shooting and Thompson added 23 on 10-of-16. The bench scored 40. Bogdan Bogdanovic hit 4 of 5 threes for 16 points in 15 minutes and finished +23.
Oct. 29
Sengun's back listing moved off out, and his target date is Friday. Marcus Smart is still listed out with the left forearm, also pointed at Oct. 30. Steven Adams' right calf points to Nov. 2. Houston's big-man depth held up without either center: Clint Capela had 10 points, 8 rebounds, 3 steals and 2 blocks at +23 in 22 minutes.
Oct. 30
Friday's NBA Cup night in Dallas comes with a schedule edge for Houston. Dallas has played three games in seven days, Houston four. The Mavericks are thin, though. Dereck Lively II, Santi Aldama and Tarik Biberovic are out, and Naji Marshall (illness) and Sergio de Larrea (right knee) are uncertain. Cooper Flagg is the matchup that matters on the wing for Thompson.
When will Alperen Sengun return for the Rockets?
Sengun was upgraded from out on Oct. 29, and his projected return is Oct. 30 at Dallas. The team has not confirmed that he will play.
Who do the Rockets play next?
Houston plays at the Dallas Mavericks on Oct. 30 in an Emirates NBA Cup game, then hosts the Oklahoma City Thunder on Oct. 31.
