What the numbers say
2025-26Thunder led the league at +11.1 per 100 possessions; the league average is zero by definition, and anything above +5 has been a top-four team almost every year.
Nuggets had the best offense (121.2) and Thunder the best defense (106.5 allowed); league average 114.8.
Heat played fastest at 104.2 possessions per 48 minutes, Celtics slowest at 95.6; pace says how many possessions, not how good they are.
Nuggets were the most efficient scorers (TS% 61.6); true shooting folds threes and free throws into one number, which is why it beats raw field-goal percentage.
Rockets won the most rebounds (54.5% of available), Thunder took care of the ball best (turnovers on 12.4% of possessions).
Ratings are points per 100 possessions (offense scored, defense allowed, net = the difference). eFG% counts a three as 1.5 field goals; TS% adds free throws.
