Luke Kennard was cleared on the injury report Saturday night and is no longer listed as day-to-day. The Suns host the Warriors at 10:00 PM ET with the guard back in the mix.

What happened

Luke Kennard was moved to Cleared on the official injury report at 8:44 PM ET on Saturday, Oct. 24. He had been listed as Day-To-Day. The report gave no further detail and no comment. His left knee and leg issue first appeared on Oct. 15 as Day-To-Day. He was ruled Out on Wednesday, Oct. 21, then upgraded back to Day-To-Day on Thursday, Oct. 22. No expected return date was announced, and none is needed now that he is cleared.

What it means for the Suns

Phoenix plays the Warriors on Saturday, Oct. 24 at 10:00 PM ET on NBA TV. The Suns are 0-1 and sit 11th in the standings after a loss in their only game. Kennard, 30, played 78 games last season and averaged 21.5 minutes, 8.4 points, 2.3 rebounds and 2.2 assists. In the one game without him, Devin Booker played 29.4 minutes, Miles Bridges 28.6, Dillon Brooks 26.7 and Jalen Green 24.9. Jordan Goodwin and Collin Gillespie each played about 21 minutes. Phoenix is 0-0 with him this season and 0-1 without him. Mark Williams and Oso Ighodaro are both listed as Out.

What to watch

Watch Kennard's minutes against Golden State. Last season he played about 21 minutes a night, and it is not announced whether the team will limit him after the layoff. Phoenix will update its report before its next game. Williams, out with a left shoulder issue, and Ighodaro, out with an oblique issue, have no announced return dates. Their absences keep the rotation thin around Kennard.
