The only rumors attached to Philadelphia are a two-way conversion and a back injury timeline. Neither moves the roster, and the $206.6M payroll is above the $200.4M tax line anyway.

Is there a real trade rumor about the Sixers right now?

No. The four reports on the board are a two-way conversion, a back injury, a minor-transactions roundup dated Oct. 16 and a league-wide list of two-way openings from Oct. 11. None says a Sixers player is available, wanted or moving. The Oct. 16 item scores 45 in confidence and is marked moved; the openings list is also marked moved. Neither is a trade story.

Is the Tacko Fall report credible?

Yes. Shams Charania reported on Oct. 17 that the Sixers converted Tacko Fall to a two-way contract. The report scores 71 in confidence, the highest on the board, and the roster now lists Fall at No. 99. He was also cleared of his injury entries on Oct. 31. It is a depth move for a team with Embiid day-to-day and Hukporti out, not a headline.

Is Barlow's two-week back timeline noise?

Mostly not, despite a low score. A report on Oct. 19 said Barlow would miss at least two weeks with a back injury. It scores 29 in confidence and is still open. Two weeks ends today, and the injury list has him back Nov. 4, still out. By our count he plays 23.8 minutes a game, far more than Hukporti's 9.2.

Does the cap sheet allow a move if one comes?

Nothing is reported, so there is no move to test. What the sheet shows is $206.6M in payroll, $6.2M above the $200.4M tax line, with Embiid at $58.1M, Brown at $57.1M and Maxey at $40.8M. Edgecombe at $11.7M and Wade at $9.0M are next. Philadelphia holds its own 2027 and 2030 firsts, so assets exist; a buyer and a report do not.

The verdictThe board holds one credible report, Fall's two-way deal, and one low-scored injury timeline that the injury list roughly matches. A rumor check with no trade rumor is the quietest kind.
Are the Sixers trading for anyone?

No trade report involving the Sixers is on the board as of Nov. 2. The only items are a two-way conversion, a back injury and two roundups.

When is Barlow expected back?

The injury list has Barlow returning Nov. 4. He is still out with a back injury today.
