Sunday in Minnesota

The Raptors visit the Timberwolves on October 25, then return home for Orlando on October 28 and October 30. Minnesota went 49-33 last season and is 2-0 under Chris Finch. Anthony Edwards averaged 28.8 points in 61 games last season, and Donte DiVincenzo is listed out with an Achilles issue. Toronto has not played Minnesota yet this season.

The Number: 12-for-36

That is Kawhi Leonard's shooting to start the year, 4-for-14 from three, according to TSN's Josh Lewenberg. His 16 points at Washington ended a streak of 58 games with at least 20, Lewenberg noted. Leonard's minutes have risen each time out, and he still played 28 on Friday. The defense has covered for him: Lewenberg pointed out that Toronto has held both opponents under 39 percent and forced 50 turnovers in two games.

Barrett and the Bench

Barrett's 23 points came with no turnovers, and Lewenberg wrote that he is not an expendable piece as the roster is built. Hoopsrumors reported in late September that his extension talks were not serious. Collin Murray-Boyles was plus-21 in 18 minutes off the bench. Lewenberg's tally has Toronto plus-49 in 36 minutes with him on the floor and plus-4 in 60 without him. The open question for Sunday is whether that pressure can hold against Edwards when the Raptors made only 6 of 29 threes on Friday.

When do the Raptors play the Timberwolves?

Toronto plays at Minnesota on Sunday, October 25, and the game is on NBA TV.

What is the Raptors' record this season?

Toronto is 2-0 and fourth in the East, after beating Chicago 135-92 and Washington 112-102.
