A Quiet Overnight

The injury report did not change. Donte DiVincenzo remains out with a right Achilles injury, with an estimated return of April 2, 2027. Hoops Rumors ran a Northwest Notes item Saturday that listed Joan Beringer and Jaden McDaniels among other names, with nothing specific on Minnesota. McDaniels' one-year extension, reported October 19, still has no public terms. He has scored 13 and 15 in the two wins.

The Raptors' Shape

Toronto went 46-36 last season with a net rating of 2.9. Minnesota went 49-33 at 3.1. Darko Rajakovic has Scottie Barnes, who averaged 18.1 points, and Kawhi Leonard, who averaged 27.9 in 65 games. Nate Bittle is out for the Raptors. Both clubs have had one day of rest, so neither has a freshness edge.

The Open Question

The Athletic wrote that Minnesota got smaller this summer but is playing bigger. Toronto will test that with size and with a scorer in Leonard. After this comes a Monday trip to Cleveland, then Golden State on Wednesday and the Clippers on October 30. Whether the glass work travels with the team through that run is the question to watch.

When do the Timberwolves play after Toronto?

Minnesota plays at Cleveland on Monday, October 26. Golden State visits on October 28.

Who is injured for the Timberwolves right now?
