Oklahoma City is still sitting at 0-0, but training camp now carries both a health report and a full schedule attached to it. Isaiah Hartenstein, Ajay Mitchell, Thomas Sorber, Jalen Williams and Otega Oweh are all day-to-day, each pointing to an October 1 return.

Five Bodies, One Date

Hartenstein is dealing with an ankle issue, Mitchell a calf strain, Sorber a knee, Jalen Williams a hamstring and Oweh a lower-leg problem. Every one of the five injury designations lists the same October 1 target date. None of the five is listed as out; the tag across the board is day-to-day.

The Schedule Locks In

The preseason slate opens October 6 against the Pelicans, followed by the Bucks on October 7, a road trip to the Hawks on October 12 and the Pacers at home on October 13. The regular season begins October 20 against the Spurs, airing on NBC and Peacock.

Tilly's Contract Still Unresolved

Oklahoma City's books carry a $216.2 million payroll, a figure that sits past the first apron and above the $200.4 million luxury-tax line. Christoph Tilly joined the roster on an Exhibit 10 contract on September 14, one day before Lindy Waters signed with the Beijing Ducks. Whether Tilly's deal turns into a camp contract, a two-way spot, or nothing at all is still the open question in Oklahoma City this month.
