Shai Gilgeous-Alexander averaged 31.1 points, 4.3 rebounds and 6.6 assists, and Chet Holmgren added 17.1 points and 8.9 rebounds a night. The roster's average age of 24.2 says the group most responsible for that run has not finished climbing.
The Variable in Camp
Camp opened with five players unavailable — Hartenstein, Ajay Mitchell, Thomas Sorber, Jalen Williams and Otega Oweh, nursing ankle, calf, knee, hamstring and lower-leg issues, each with an estimated Oct. 1 return.
