Kentavious Caldwell-Pope was cleared Sunday night from Day-To-Day status with a right wrist issue. The 76ers guard is off the injury report ahead of Wednesday's game at Indiana.

What happened

The 76ers guard was cleared on the injury report at 10:36 PM ET on Sunday, Oct. 25. He had been listed Day-To-Day earlier the same day with a right wrist issue, so the change came within hours. The report gave no detail on the injury and carried no comment. No return date applies because none was announced. Caldwell-Pope, 33, has now been listed and cleared several times this fall. He was Day-To-Day with a right finger issue on Sept. 6, was cleared on Oct. 1, and was listed for rest on Oct. 10. He was cleared again on Oct. 16.

What it means for the 76ers

Philadelphia plays at Indiana on Wednesday, Oct. 28, at 7:00 PM ET on ESPN. The 76ers are 3-1 and hold the second seed, but they lost their last game. Caldwell-Pope has played in three games, averaging 26.4 minutes, 8.3 points, 3.0 rebounds and 1.3 assists. The team is 3-1 with him and has not played a game without him. The depth chart is thin. Joel Embiid and VJ Edgecombe are both listed Out, along with Jabari Walker, Dominick Barlow, Ariel Hukporti and Tacko Fall. If Caldwell-Pope were held back, the minutes would go to a group led by Tyrese Maxey, Jaylen Brown, LeBron James and Dean Wade, with Anfernee Simons and Adem Bona behind them.

What to watch

The next injury report will show whether Caldwell-Pope stays off the list before the Pacers game. Any new designation would show up there first. Philadelphia has not announced a return date, because none is needed after the clearance. The next game is Wednesday at Indiana at 7:00 PM ET. Embiid and Edgecombe remain Out, so the rotation around Caldwell-Pope depends on how those two are listed in the coming days.

Is Kentavious Caldwell-Pope playing at the Pacers on Oct. 28?

He is not on the injury report after being cleared Sunday night. The 76ers have not announced anything further, and the next report will confirm his status before the 7:00 PM ET game on Wednesday.

When will Kentavious Caldwell-Pope be back?

He was cleared from Day-To-Day on Oct. 25, so no return date is needed. The report lists no expected return and no detail on the wrist issue.
