Warriors forward Gui Santos is questionable for Monday's game at Denver because of left knee tendinitis. The Warriors are 0-3 and could be without another rotation forward.

What happened

The Warriors updated Santos on the injury report Sunday at 5:38 PM ET. He is Day-To-Day with a left knee issue. His status was Day-To-Day before the update, but earlier Sunday his listing read Undisclosed, Other. The report comment says Santos is questionable for Monday's game against the Nuggets due to left knee tendinitis. The report lists Monday, Oct 26 as his expected return date. He was also listed Day-To-Day for a left knee issue on Oct. 16, and that listing was cleared the same day. Before that, he was listed for rest on Oct. 7.

What it means for the Warriors

Golden State plays at Denver on Monday at 10:00 PM ET (Peacock/NBC Sports Network). The Warriors are 0-3, sit 15th and have lost three straight. Santos, 24, has played in all three games. Last season he averaged 8.0 points, 4.3 rebounds and 1.7 assists in 22.6 minutes. The team has no games without him yet, so there is no record to compare. If he sits, the minutes fall to a rotation led by Yaxel Lendeborg (34.2 minutes), Brandin Podziemski (32.9) and Draymond Green (26.1). Stephen Curry averages 25.5, De'Anthony Melton 22.7, and Georges Niang, Will Richard and Al Horford about 18 each. Kristaps Porzingis, Jimmy Butler III and Moses Moody are out.

What to watch

The next update is the Warriors' injury report before Monday's game in Denver. Santos is questionable, and the report lists Oct. 26 as his expected return. Whether he plays will be settled by that report and by pregame availability. Watch the left knee, since tendinitis has now put him on the report twice this month. Brandon Williams and Charles Bassey are also Day-To-Day, so the Warriors' frontcourt and bench depth is thin.

Is Gui Santos playing Monday at the Nuggets?

He is questionable. The injury report lists him Day-To-Day with left knee tendinitis and gives Monday, Oct. 26 as his expected return. The game tips at 10:00 PM ET.

When will Gui Santos be back?

The injury report lists an expected return of Oct. 26, the day of the Nuggets game. No longer timeline has been announced.
