The 2026-27 season has not tipped off yet, with every team sitting at 0-0 heading into Wednesday. There were no games and no new injury designations, but preseason roster business kept moving across the league. The Pistons and Pelicans both signed and immediately waived depth pieces, while several other teams finalized camp and two-way additions.

Roster churn dominated the day. The Pistons signed then waived both Dawson Garcia and Basheer Jihad, and the Pelicans did the same with Johnny O'Neil while also losing Christian Shumate. The Cavaliers added Sean McNeil, the Warriors added Chance McMillian and Deivon Smith, the Celtics waived Caleb Grill, and the Pacers cut Keion Brooks Jr., Wade Taylor IV, Cameron Hildreth and M.J. Iraldi. Reports have the Nets signing and waiving Isaiah Wong and Dwight Murray Jr. (50% confidence), the Knicks signing Eubanks and Robbins among six other signed-and-waived moves (45%), the Wizards re-signing forward Anthony Gill (45%), and Lindy Waters signing with the Beijing Ducks (45%).
