Charles Bassey's minutes are up nine a night for the Warriors
Bassey's expanded role could hold if his teammate stays out, or fade once that player is back.
Charles Bassey is playing nine more minutes a night for the Warriors than his season average, over his last three games through April 12, 2026. That jump has come while a teammate has been out of the lineup.
For the 2025-26 season, Bassey has appeared in 13 games, averaging 11.7 minutes and 5.8 points a night. Over his last three games, those numbers rose to 21.1 minutes and 11.3 points.
Nearly doubling his minutes points to a bigger role for the Warriors right now, not just one extended outing. Scoring more than twice his season average in that stretch shows he can produce when he gets the floor time.
Whether this holds depends on the teammate he has been filling in for. If that player returns healthy, Bassey's minutes and scoring would likely settle back toward his season marks of 11.7 minutes and 5.8 points. If the absence continues, or if the Warriors like what they have seen over these three games, Bassey could keep the larger role.
