Trevon Brazile remains day-to-day after sitting out Sunday's Summer League finale for undisclosed reasons, according to Ryan Blackburn of MileHighSports.com. His designation has not changed since earlier in camp, and no return timetable has been set ahead of Denver's game at the Jazz on Tuesday.
What happened
The injury report listed Trevon Brazile as day-to-day on Sunday at 10:14 p.m. ET, the same designation he carried into the day. Ryan Blackburn of MileHighSports.com reported that Brazile is out for Sunday's Summer League finale for undisclosed reasons. The report gave no further detail on the cause and did not list an expected return. Brazile had already appeared on the report as day-to-day on Sept. 6, when his issue was listed as undisclosed under the "other" category, so Sunday's entry extends a status that has not resolved in nearly a month.
What it means for the Nuggets
Denver plays at the Jazz on Tuesday at 9 p.m. ET, with the team still at 0-0 since the 2026-27 regular season has not started. Brazile has no established per-game line this season, so his absence from the Summer League finale does not touch Denver's regular-season rotation. The minutes that matter for that lineup belong to Jamal Murray, Nikola Jokic, Christian Braun, Cameron Johnson, Peyton Watson, Aaron Gordon, Tim Hardaway Jr. and Bruce Brown, none of whom are affected by Brazile's status. The Nuggets have no record with or without him yet, since no regular-season games have been played.
What to watch
The next injury report will show whether Brazile's day-to-day tag changes or whether the undisclosed issue becomes a listed designation ahead of the Jazz game on Tuesday at 9 p.m. ET. No expected return date has been announced. His status has carried as day-to-day since Sept. 6 with no further detail given in that time.
