Oct. 5

Milwaukee opened preseason at home against Minnesota and lost, 97-116. Ryan Rollins led the Bucks with 15 points, and Kel'el Ware added 14 points and 12 rebounds in the loss. It was the first look at the retooled roster together.

Oct. 7

Two days later, the Bucks beat Oklahoma City, 128-126. Jaime Jaquez Jr. scored 13 points; Myles Turner added 8. It was Milwaukee's first win of the preseason, and a sign the new pieces could fit together on a given night.

Oct. 11

The preseason trip closed with a 90-105 setback in Charlotte. Tyler Herro scored 18 points and Kyle Kuzma added 12, but the Bucks could not keep pace with the Hornets down the stretch, dropping their second game in three tries.

Oct. 13

Taylor Jenkins said Kasparas Jakucionis and Ousmane Dieng will play Wednesday, after both sat out the games against Minnesota and in Charlotte. Herro missed practice with an illness, and the hope is he's cleared in time. Ament was moving around at practice, working toward the Oct. 21 opener.

Tonight

Chicago visits Fiserv Forum for Milwaukee's fourth preseason game. Herro's health, and the first real preseason minutes for Jakucionis and Dieng, are the things worth watching before the Bucks turn to Indiana on Friday and then open the regular season in Washington.

Next Milwaukee plays once more in preseason, Friday, Oct. 16, before the regular-season opener in Washington on Oct. 21.
Is Tyler Herro playing against the Bulls tonight?

He missed Tuesday's practice with an illness, but Taylor Jenkins said the hope is he's available for tonight's game against Chicago.

When is Nate Ament expected back for the Bucks?

Ament has been day-to-day with a left ankle issue since Oct. 7; Jenkins said he was moving around in practice Tuesday, with the regular-season opener on Oct. 21 in Washington as the target.
