The training camp roster is now official.

Celtics.com posted the 2026-27 training camp roster on Sept. 28, closing a month of turnover. Hayden Gray and Gabe McGlothan joined Sept. 23, two days after Max Shulga left the team. Caleb Grill's training camp deal, signed Sept. 14, lasted one day before he was gone Sept. 15. The group that remains runs 21 deep.

Last season's best five-man lineup cannot run back.

Jaylen Brown, Derrick White, Neemias Queta, Payton Pritchard and Sam Hauser posted a net rating of +17.9 over 200 minutes last season, Boston's top mark of any regular five. Brown is now in Philadelphia. The number still describes what worked; it says nothing about what replaces it, and camp has not yet supplied an answer.

Tatum's day-to-day tag lasted one day.

A Sept. 24 report listed Jayson Tatum day-to-day; he was cleared the same date, with no cause given in either report. Camp opens with an empty injury list.
