Camp Moves South, the Open Spot Doesn't

Boston shifted preseason camp to Charleston; the two-way vacancy from September 12 made the trip anyway.

By the Celtics Nightly Desk · Monday, October 5

Boston ran training camp in Charleston this week instead of at the Garden, as MassLive's Souichi Terada first reported Oct. 4, with the preseason opener at Cleveland four days out. Dillon Mitchell appeared by name in a beat report for the first time on Oct. 3, in a roundup that added no specifics to his standing, George's integration, or the two-way slot still open since Sept. 12.
