Williams Targets February. Mark Williams remains out with an arm and shoulder issue on his left side, tied to a reported surgery. His estimated return is February 3, 2027, meaning the center spot stays open through camp, the preseason slate and well into the regular season.

Booker's Record Extension. Devin Booker's two-year, $145 million extension carries the richest annual salary in NBA history. Last season he put up 26.1 points, 3.9 rebounds and 6.0 assists across 64 games, and at 29, entering his 11th season, he remains the one certainty on a roster still sorting out its rotation.
