A third report, from RealGM and confirmed by Hoops Rumors' Rory Maher, covered the same wave: Nick Boyd signing a camp contract alongside Ralph, and Jacksen Moni being waived. Those moves match the transaction log here: Ralph joined September 18 and left September 20, and Agbim is the newest name still on the roster. What Kerr told Green, and what nobody said

Green is 36 and entering his 14th year, and every lineup logged from last season still had him starting alongside Curry. NBC Sports Bay Area also reported that Curry discussed his future with the team around the release date of his new signature shoe, and Dalton Johnson wrote that several Warriors are entering the season on notable expiring contracts. Curry is signed for $62.6 million this season, one of the deals that help push payroll to $223.3 million, above the tougher of the two luxury-tax lines. Whichever contracts Johnson had in mind, Golden State has little room under that number to add help before those deals run out on their own.
