Golden State's Busiest Rumor Week Confirmed Almost Nothing
Five open reports touched the Warriors this month, and the single one that matters most carries one of the lowest confidence scores of the bunch.
The past three weeks produced five open rumor reports on Golden State, graded between 31 and 50 confidence, plus three transactions already confirmed outright. Read against the cap sheet, almost none of them required the Warriors to find room they don't have.

What the confidence scores actually say
HoopsRumors graded six open items touching Golden State since September 28: a league-wide oldest-and-youngest roster note at 50 confidence, the Warriors-Knicks valuation report from Kurt Badenhausen at 44, Tyler Burton's Exhibit 10 signing at 42, Podziemski's extension at 40, and two separate Porzingis health updates, one at 31 and the newest at 45. Three other items, including Miles Kelly's waiver, are already confirmed, not rumored. The highest-graded item on the list isn't about the Warriors at all.
Nothing here tests the cap sheet
Burton's contract is an Exhibit 10, non-guaranteed by rule and irrelevant to the hard cap. Podziemski's extension carries no reported salary or option terms, the same gap that's sat open on Curry's two-year extension since it was finalized September 25. Golden State's payroll already runs $223.3 million, above the second apron and past the $200.4 million tax line, anchored by Curry's $62.6 million and Butler's $56.8 million. Whatever numbers eventually land on Podziemski's deal, the roof was already built before HoopsRumors wrote about it.
The one report with real stakes has the least behind it
Porzingis has been out indefinitely since Anthony Slater's September 28 report, the lowest-graded item of the stretch at 31 confidence. Today's update, graded 45, repeats the same shape: indefinite, a health issue, no diagnosis attached. The Athletic, SFGATE and Golden State of Mind all covered the team's statement, and NBC Sports Bay Area's Dalton Johnson reported Porzingis would be around the team after meeting with Mike Dunleavy and Rick Celebrini. None of that adds up to a timetable.
The rest is noise
The Warriors-Knicks valuation report ties Golden State to New York with no dollar figures attached to either franchise. The oldest-and-youngest roster note that graded highest isn't a Warriors story at all, just a league table with a Warrior or two in it. Neither changes anything about the roster in front of Steve Kerr.
Is Brandin Podziemski's contract extension finalized?
HoopsRumors reported the two sides agreed to a five-year extension on October 10, but no salary or option terms have been reported yet.
Why is Kristaps Porzingis still out?
The Warriors have said only that his health issue, first reported September 28, keeps him out indefinitely; no diagnosis has been reported.
