Most NBA games reach the UK between midnight and four in the morning: a 7pm tip-off in New York is midnight in London, and the West Coast follows at three. The exceptions are worth knowing, and the week above highlights them: weekend afternoon games in the US land between five and eleven in the evening here, and this season Prime Video has about twenty games scheduled specifically for UK prime time.
Mind the clocks in autumn and spring. The UK goes back to GMT a week before the US does, so for one week the gap is four hours instead of five; the times above are always converted from the official schedule, so they already account for it.
Sky Sports remains the TV home of the NBA in Britain, with the bigger package and the 2027 Finals. Prime Video has fewer games but a strong set of exclusives, including the Manchester Game at Co-op Live in January, the Play-In and the Eastern Conference Finals. Seeing the whole post-season means having both, or League Pass.
Sky Sports has streamed some Sunday games free on its YouTube channel in the past; it has not been confirmed for 2026-27. Highlights are free on the NBA's and Sky Sports' YouTube channels.
