Wilson's name keeps showing up in Chicago beat notes alongside veterans like Josh Giddey, Nic Claxton and Zach Collins. Joe Cowley's Oct. 18 column grouped him with Giddey, Claxton, Collins and Patrick Williams' teammate Kevin Miller, and Julia Poe's Oct. 8 notes placed him with Matas Buzelis-era regulars Jahmir Young types like Swain, Awaka and Williams. None of those items spell out a specific trade or role change, just that the rookie is a recurring subject in Chicago coverage.
