Peterson has been on the floor for real stretches right away. He played 29.6 minutes in the opener against Denver on October 4, then 19.5 the next time out, also against Denver. His most recent two outings, against San Antonio and Phoenix, saw him log 24.4 and 29.3 minutes. That is rotation-level playing time for a 19-year-old in his first NBA games, and he has stayed off the injury report through all four.
