Hoops Rumors reported that Thunder rookie Otega Oweh suffered what it called a potentially serious injury, logging him day-to-day with a right lower leg issue a day after his 8-point night in the 114-112 preseason win over the Pacers. His listed return date, Oct. 15, matches the estimates already on the books for Chet Holmgren, Ajay Mitchell, Jaylin Williams and Thomas Sorber, all day-to-day heading into Thursday's preseason finale at the Rockets on NBA TV.

Oweh's Injury Report

Oweh scored 8 points on 3-of-5 shooting in 15 minutes off the bench against Indiana. A day later Hoops Rumors described his right lower leg injury as potentially serious, with the Thunder listing him day-to-day and no diagnosis, clearance or timeline yet reported beyond that account.

Five Names, One Date

Holmgren (quadriceps), Mitchell (rest), Jaylin Williams (heel) and Sorber (knee) all carry the same Oct. 15 return estimate as Oweh. None has been cleared yet, so Thursday's trip to Houston is the real test of whether that date holds.

One Preseason Game Left

The Rockets game on NBA TV is Oklahoma City's last tune-up before the regular season opens Oct. 20 against the Spurs. The Thunder are 1-2 in preseason play, erasing a 16-point deficit to beat the Pacers Tuesday after trailing for most of the night.

What injury does Otega Oweh have?

A right lower leg injury that Hoops Rumors called potentially serious; the Thunder list him day-to-day with an estimated return of Oct. 15.

When do the Thunder play next?
