Oklahoma City is 2-0 and second in the West, with four games in seven days starting Sunday against the Clippers. Two are at Paycom Center, then ESPN carries the trip to Dallas and NBA TV the stop in Houston.

2-0: Thunder record

Sunday: Clippers at Paycom

The Thunder get two days of rest before Sunday's game. Tyronn Lue's Clippers are 1-1 and coming off a loss, playing the second game of a road stretch on one day of rest. Five of their players are listed out: Brandon Ingram, Bradley Beal, Max Strus, Yanic Konan Niederhauser and Jordan Miller. Ingram led the club last season at 21.5 points, so the Clippers lose their main scorer from a team that finished 42-40 with a 1.1 net rating. Oklahoma City was at 11.1. ESPN has framed the night as a conference rival visiting. On the ratings, it is a home game against a thin roster.

Monday brings the back-to-back

Phoenix visits Monday, the second night in a row. Nikola Topic and Thomas Sorber are both listed out, with October 26 as the target date for each, so the Suns game is the first real chance to see either. Otega Oweh is out with a right Achilles injury and a July 1, 2027 return date. Hoops Rumors says Micah Peavy agreed to a two-way deal on Thursday. Rotation minutes are already stretched: Jared McCain has played 11 more a night over the last three games and Alex Caruso 10 more, both with a teammate sidelined. A second game in 24 hours will test that depth.

Road work in Dallas, Houston

The trip opens Wednesday at Dallas on ESPN. The Mavericks eliminated the Thunder in the 2024 conference finals, and Oklahoma City has since climbed past them to a title. Saturday's game at Houston is on NBA TV. The Thunder lost there 116-89 on October 15, a preseason game that carries no weight in the standings but does show the Rockets are no soft landing. Four games in seven days is a lot for a team that has played twice, and the roster that arrives in Texas will depend on how the Sorber and Topic dates hold.

When do the Thunder play the Clippers?

Oklahoma City hosts Los Angeles on October 25 at Paycom Center. The Thunder enter at 2-0 with two days of rest.

Who is out for the Clippers against the Thunder?

Five Clippers are listed out: Brandon Ingram, Bradley Beal, Max Strus, Yanic Konan Niederhauser and Jordan Miller. Ingram was the team's leading scorer last season at 21.5 points.
