The camp churn produced one confirmed move and one report that hasn't caught up to the roster list. Elsewhere, the trade that mattered most this month is no longer a rumor at all.

Bridges In, Sutton Unconfirmed. Hoops Rumors reported Marquel Sutton waived to clear a spot for Jalen Bridges, who officially joined October 1. The transaction log confirms Bridges. It does not confirm Sutton's exit — he is still listed on the roster, so call this one half-verified.

Dillingham-Hield Swap Final. The September 26 report that the Bulls would send Rob Dillingham to the Hornets for Buddy Hield has since been backed by actual transactions: Dillingham left for Charlotte, Hield arrived in Chicago. What started as an open report is now settled roster fact.

Grizzlies Notes Got It Right. A September 26 roundup on Memphis roster moves also flagged Sutton joining the Bulls, which checked out at the time. Five days later a separate report has him headed back out the door for Bridges — camp spots keep turning over fast.

Three Veterans, No Names. A September 25 report said the Bulls signed three NBA veterans to set the camp roster, without naming who. Nothing in the days since has attached specifics to that claim. File it as unconfirmed until a transaction says otherwise.

Injury Roundup Skips Specifics. A September 28 injury roundup via Zion Brown grouped the Bulls with Haliburton, Curry, Luka and Beal under one headline. It carried no Chicago-specific detail. That makes it noise for this franchise, whatever it meant for the other four teams.

Staff Rumor Still Thin. The September 15 report on Tiago Splitter's coaching staff carries a confidence score of 33 and remains open. The one piece that did solidify — Taj Gibson retiring to join as an assistant — came a day earlier and stands confirmed on its own.

Cap Sheet Has Room. Chicago's payroll sits at $161.5 million against a $165.0 million cap and a $200.4 million tax threshold, with Giddey, Claxton, Powell and Williams as the biggest deals. That gap is why a low-cost add like Bridges clears easily, and why a bigger swing wouldn't strain the books.

On deck Camp continues with preseason games starting October 7 against the Suns, then the Grizzlies on October 9 and road trips to Denver and Milwaukee before the October 21 opener at Toronto.
Did the Bulls really trade Rob Dillingham for Buddy Hield?

Yes. What began as a September 26 report is now confirmed by transactions — Dillingham is with the Hornets, Hield is with the Bulls.

Is Marquel Sutton off the Bulls roster?

A report says he was waived to sign Jalen Bridges, but the roster list still carries him, so that move isn't fully confirmed yet.
