Two More Out. Marquel Sutton and Peter Suder both left the Bulls today, per the transaction log. Sutton's departure had been reported October 1 alongside Jalen Bridges' arrival; today's record makes it official, and Suder's exit lands the same week.

Stevens In The Mix. Hoops Rumors reported Chicago signed Isaiah Stevens, with a separate item grouping the Bulls, Jazz and Trail Blazers under minor roster moves without specifics for Chicago. Camp bodies keep turning before a single preseason snap.

Payroll Still Clean. Chicago's payroll sits at $161.5 million, well under the salary cap and far from the $200.4 million tax threshold. Giddey ($25.0M), Claxton ($23.1M), Powell ($21.5M) and Williams ($18.0M) are the four largest deals this season.

Collins Eyes Return. Zach Collins is day-to-day with a toe injury on his right side, with an estimated return of October 7 — the same date as the preseason opener against the Suns. Whether he's ready will be the first health marker of camp.

Minutes Watch: Williams, Miller. Last season, Patrick Williams averaged 34 minutes over his final three games whenever a teammate was out, 14 more than his season mark. Leonard Miller closed last season at 28.8 minutes over his final ten games, 13.1 above his average — both signs of how thin this roster got late.

Preseason Slate Set. Chicago opens preseason October 7 against the Suns, then hosts the Grizzlies October 9, visits Denver October 11 and Milwaukee October 14, before the regular season opener October 21 at Toronto.

What The Beat Is Saying. The Sun-Times wrote Caleb Wilson is 'getting defensive' early in camp, Bulls.com has Norman Powell embracing a veteran-leader role, and Pippen Ain't Easy floated a trade idea between the Lakers and Bulls without naming pieces.

On deck The preseason opener against the Suns comes October 7, the same date Zach Collins' estimated return lands; the regular season opens October 21 at Toronto.
Did the Bulls really waive Marquel Sutton?
